Dunsin Sunday Fakorede

Dunsin Sunday Fakorede is a Senior Project Manager and mechanical engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering $8M+ in capital construction projects across Ontario. He holds degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Software Development, and has built a career that bridges physical infrastructure and digital technology.

In his community, he serves as Secretary of the Nigerian Community and Professionals Forum of Canada (NCPFC), is a founding member of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Youth Council, and served on its Constitution Drafting Committee — someone who does not just participate in community, but helps build its foundations.

One of the co-founders of Dudu Vibes Entertainment, he has brought people together across the Niagara region for years. He lives in the heart of Ward 5 and is running because this community deserves a councillor with the credentials to deliver, the community ties to listen, and the record to prove both.

Above all, Dunsin is a husband and father whose family calls Ward 5 home. Every priority he brings to the council table — safer streets, better transit, affordable housing — is grounded in one simple question: is this good for the families raising their children here?
